The Data Research Analyst (DRA) internship is open to all students with an interest in the financial, software, and management information industries. The DRA Intern will serve as a member of the Research Organization working on a production team to assist in meeting client needs through varying degrees of research. Work completed by a DRA is then accessed and leveraged by our clients to manage risk and maintain regulatory compliance.

This job opportunity is located in our Ames, IA office.
Duties:-Conduct research on corporations and securities, using defined procedures to identify relationships and provide validated and credible data for globally accessed solutions.
-Monitor various market segments through external research and proprietary software for indicators suggesting an update to tracked securities, entities, and corporations.
-Continue to enhance data quality over time on new and existing data through continual cleansing efforts.
-Perform work according to the data quality and production standards as defined in policies and procedures.
-Participate in projects, as assigned, to assist the management team with improving automation, efficiency, and effectiveness of solutions.
-Currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution, following the completion of a successful first semester
-Ability to commit to 18 hours of work per week over 2 semesters
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-Demonstrated experience with Word & Excel
-GPA of 2.75 or higher on a 4.0 scale

-Acute attention to detail
-Interest in learning about the financial industry
-Ability to work independently or collaborate with others
-General knowledge of financial and accounting industries preferred
