| Description: | At Kingland Systems Corporation (KSC), Software Architects play an integral part in the software development lifecycle, providing oversight to the design, development and deployment of KSC products. As a solution based company, Software Architects are part of a team committed to providing our clients with the highest quality software to help solve their complex business problems.
We currently have client projects and product development opportunities available on our Master Data Management and MDM-focused teams.
This position is a telecommuting position.

| Duties: | Develop in Java and J2EE, creating and maintaining database driven software, primarily focused on software for master data management purposes
Create software design documents for implementation by self or others
Estimate work efforts and perform to those estimations
Provide team leadership and mentorship to other developers
Oversee product implementations at client sites for extended periods of time
Assist with business development efforts, providing product expertise and solutions as needed

| Qualifications: | Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required
5+ years of experience writing JAVA software
Expertise in JAVA is required
Expertise in J2EE is strongly preferred
Experience with IBMs Master Data Management (MDM) Server or other MDM applications is preferred
Significant database experience required, with IBM DB2 experience highly preferred
Capable of engineering software component designs, as well as overall solution architectures, and contributing directly to the related implementation
Proven experience working directly with clients in a consultative role, resolving complex business problems through participation in every phase of the software development lifecycle, helping to lead the concept from beginning to end
Must possess strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
Must be willing to travel between 25-75% of the year, working onsite with clients
